Mr. Tuck Lye Koh is Founding Partner of Shunwei Capital and SWC Global, an early to growth stage venture capital firm with over US$6 billion in funds under management.
Mr. Koh is responsible for overall investment and management. He has led the firm’s investments in Deep Technology, Generative AI, AI-powered Hardware, Advanced Manufacturing, Robotics, Consumer Brands, Cleantech and Biotech in China, India and Southeast Asia.
Mr. Koh has been recognized by Forbes in 2020, 2021, 2024 and 2025 on its “The Midas List” as one of the top 100 venture investors globally. He was also recognized by Fortune China as one of the 30 most influential investors in China consecutively from 2017-2023.
Mr. Koh’s representative investments include Kingsoft (HKEX: 3888), Xiaomi Corporation (HKEX: 1810), NIO (NASDAQ: NIO), Agora (NASDAQ: API), Kingsoft Office (SHA: 688111), Southchip (SHA: 688484), Momenta, Patsnap, ShareChat, and Meesho. He was formerly a board member of Xiaomi Corporation from 2013 to 2019.
Mr. Koh obtained his degree in Bachelor of Engineering from the National University of Singapore and Master of Science from Stanford University. He currently serves as a member of Stanford University School of Engineering’s Asia Advisory Council, and was a member of the Board of Advisors of the College of Design and Engineering at the National University of Singapore from 2023 to 2025.
